The Floor Plans:

Entry

Right away, you walk into a spacious entry that sets the tone for the rest of the house.

It’s welcoming and practical, with a coat closet to your right, perfect for storing guests’ jackets or your everyday outerwear. It’s these small details that can make a house feel like a home from the moment you step in.

Study

Turning to your left, you’ll find a study.

If you work from home, this could be your new office. It’s nicely positioned at the front of the house, away from the hustle and bustle, so you can work in peace.

Even if you don’t work from home, this space could be adaptable: a music room, a library, or a quiet reading nook, perhaps?

Great Room

Moving forward, the great room is where you’ll likely spend most of your time.

It’s spacious and, with a fireplace, it feels cozy despite its size. The open layout here allows for a flow between activities, whether you’re relaxing, socializing, or simply enjoying the warmth of the fireplace.

Kitchen

The kitchen is a chef’s dream. I love that it overlooks the great room so you can cook without missing out on the conversation.

It also features a walk-in pantry, which means plenty of storage for all your kitchen gadgets and groceries. The island offers more counter space and, let’s be honest, it’s a great spot for a quick breakfast or a buffet when you host dinner parties.

Dining Room

Adjacent to the kitchen, you have a dining area.

This continuity ensures that serving meals can be done with ease. You could easily fit a large dining table here for family meals or dinner parties.

Master Suite

Now, let’s talk about the master suite located on the main level.

It’s like a little oasis. With dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a separate shower, the master bathroom offers a spa-like experience.

The walk-in closet provides ample space for clothes and accessories, but could it benefit from some built-in organization? It’s something to consider.

Outdoor Living

One of my favorite parts of this house is the outdoor living space accessible from the dining area. This is perfect for those warmer months when indoor-outdoor living becomes one. It’s easy to imagine a barbecue or a family gathering here.

Mudroom and Laundry Room

Just off the kitchen, the mudroom leads to the laundry room.

This is so practical! Coming in from the garage, you can drop muddy shoes and wet coats before entering the main living area.

And the convenience of having the laundry nearby means you can multitask: cooking while running a load of laundry.

Second Floor Bedrooms

Upstairs, each bedroom has its own walk-in closet, which is fantastic for keeping each space tidy and organized.

And with two shared bathrooms, there shouldn’t be any morning traffic jams when getting ready for the day.

Bonus Room

You’ve also got a sizable bonus room on the second level. Think of the possibilities here: a playroom for kids, media room for family movie nights, or even a home gym.

This extra space is what makes the floor plan so versatile.

Improvements

One thing I would consider is better natural light in the secondary bedrooms. Maybe adding a skylight could brighten up these spaces?

And the bonus room, while large, could use some subdivision, possibly with French doors or sliding panels to create adaptable spaces for different uses simultaneously.
